I’m not going to lie, when the midi skirt trend first started I was not interested. I thought they would only look good on taller girls, and would never work for petite girls.
I’m so happy I changed my mind because I LOVE midi skirts now! I didn’t realize how versatile they were, and that they can look good on petite girls (I’m 5’1)! This leopard midi skirt is from J.Crew Factory and is perfect for anything. Here are a few different ways to style it…
Casual & Classic Chambray
Pairing the leopard with chambray is such an easy way to look put together, but not dressy! I’ve had this chambray button-up from J.Crew Factory for years and it never gets old!

Dressy
This scalloped black tank is perfect for Spring and Summer, and the longer sleeve black top is so pretty styled for cooler weather!
This scalloped tank is also from J.Crew Factory. A perfect dressy tank that’s true to size and has adjustable straps.

Casual with a Denim Jacket
Denim jackets NEVER go out of style! I’ve had this one from American Eagle for years and wear it all the time. It can be worn casually with wedges or dressed up with a pair of black heels.

Styled with Flats- Perfect for Work!
This skirt looks great with some type of heel, but also can look so cute with a pair of flats! Here I’ve paired it with a pair of pointed black mules. Pairing the skirt with a pointed toe flat is the most flattering for petite girls especially.
